So this Saturday, at the urging of two of my friends (and my conscience) I bought a PSP and Final Fantasy: Crisis Core. It's the first FF anything I've played/watched. I LOOOOVE IT! Zack is such a dork. >_< Sephiroth is gay - the end. Angeal is kinda weird. The whole "Embrace your dreams" line cracked me right up. That and his random stories. (Dumbapples.) xD

So I just defeated these two troll things after killing everyone in this Wutai place, where some little girl (Yuffie?) "beat-up" Zack. Wtf. Then I ran around trying to kill this devil thing. And guess what! I only died THREE times! I am the bomb.

Also, does anyone else think all these guys are compensating for something with those huge-ass swords? lol Yes, I'm sure this is a running joke in the fandom. I'm still going to say it. I just did.

So I've started watching Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. I just finished episode 8.


I recommend this anime to anyone. I don't like mecha, but this show is made of awesome.

So I've been thinking and I realized that in Alberta we really hardly have any school it seems. I love it. I mean at the end of February we had a whole week off (for Teacher's Convention), then we had a couple long weekends and this week we only have a three day week (two for me!) and then next week is Spring Break. That's a lot of days off! Although I'm hardly complaining.

My two day week that I get this week is because of my trip to Edmonton for a few days. Met up with family friends there that we hadn't seen in two years so that was really exciting and we had so much fun because they had never been to West Edmonton Mall. It's either the world's largest mall or North America's, I can't remember exactly. But, seriously, it's really cool there. It's got a full size skating rink, a wave pool with massive slides, flamingos, a Sea Lion show, Chinatown, a pirate ship, submarines, and a fucking rollarcoaster! All inside! Anyways...I always have a good time when I'm there.

One day we went shopping from opening until closing time. That's ten hours, people. Ten. But I got some stuff so it was worth it. Death Note, Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi, and Samurai Champloo DVD's; Josh Groban, Norah Jones, and Linkin Park CD's; manga, some clothes, a Purdy's ice-cream bar, and my first crepe =). Yum.  Oh yeah, and a grad dress too. Took three bloody hours of straight dress shopping to find. But it's pretty (dark purple, floor length) so I guess it was sorta worth it.

A last note! A pimp out to this new magazine called PiQ. With the Newtype USA not being published anymore (to my understanding) the same poeple created a completely new magazine. I picked it up and it's not bad at all. It's got more than just anime in it which is great, because my life does not just revolve around the anime/manga scene. It has a nice little blurb in it about Tin Man which was cool.

Right now there is the biggest thunderstorm of the summer going down. It's fucking gorgeous. I absolutely love the sound of thunder. And it's raining so very hard. It's not cold enough for hail though. Every few seconds a massive flash of lightening will go.

Ok, well on Monday I read Naruto 363. Who else is in love with the idea of a Pein/Blue OTP. 'CUZ I SURE AS HELL AM! Those two are so badass.  But I was kinda disappointed about AL not actually being the real mastermind. But who cares! He's hawt! And I like Blue's shoes. :D

I finished speed-reading HP7 on Sunday night and now I am slowing re-reading it. Overall I was not particularly pleased with the book. The ending was disappointing and was it just me or did anyone else find it incredibly cheesy? Oh well. Life goes on.

Only 5 more days of summer school left, bitches! Muhaha...

I have made plans to finally go and see Harry Potter 5 tonight. Pretty excited to see Luna Lovegood, Tonks, Bellatrix and Ginny. My fave characters! I also really want to see Transformers, Hairspray, and well a bunch of other movies. Don't know when I'll have time though.
